Adriana was absolutely incredible. If you get the opportunity to have her on your birth journey, I cannot recommend her enough. We had joy of working with Adriana for birth and postpartum, and she was invaluable every step of the way. She met with us before the birth to talk about what our birth plan would look like, helped educate us on what we could expect as first time parents, then she was there to help us navigate all the tricky ups and downs and changes both with education, emotional support and advocating to the doctors and the nurses during the actual labor and delivery process. Postpartum she did everything from teaching us a magical swaddling technique to doing our laundry to cooking us delicious healthy meals to help with recovery. We truly could not imagine going through this experience without Adriana and are so grateful to her for helping us bring our daughter into the world.

As a soon to be new mom, I reached out to the Nesting Place with 100 questions and a lot of uncertainty on what my husband and I would need to prepare for our son's birth. Barb was very responsive and I trusted that her team would find the perfect postpartum doula to meet my needs. Within a few days, we were put into contact with Megan and had an introduction call--lo and behold, she was a great fit for us!

Megan proved to be invaluable to our family, but especially to me as a first time mom. She was warm, not judgemental, and led me through all of the tasks required for caring for a newborn. She also spent the time to listen to me and guided me through the early postpartum stage while I healed physically and emotionally from childbirth. I would highly recommend the Nesting Place and Megan to any parents (new or not). Thank you!

We used the Nesting Place to match us with a postpartum Doula for the arrival of our 4th baby. Barbara was lovely to chat with and understood right away what we needed. We have had Laura come to help us out. She is kind and excellent with our newborn, Ethan. We are very comfortable with her in our home. She takes good care of the baby, while I rest after a c-section. We would highly recommend this service to anyone expecting a baby!

The Nesting Place was such a pleasure to work with as they were always so responsive and helpful during our conversations. Laura was my postpartum doula who is an absolute delight. She has such a positive, encouraging, and calm disposition. Laura is loving, caring and nurturing; everything you want in a doula caring for both you and your baby! I am very happy with my experience at the nesting place, Allison and Barb have been receptive and resourceful since day one. I contacted the nesting place eager to find a doula to be a part of labor team. I am truly grateful to have met Brittany as my doula. It was my first delivery, and I was very excited but anxious. Brittany came to us as a backup doula, she had met my partner and I for the first time that day. She came in, she was pleasant and supportive. She took her time to get to know us and our wants and needs. She continuously checked in with me to see where I was mentally and emotionally. I had expressed that I was very into affirmations, and she provided positive affirmations and encouragement throughout the whole labor. I was in labor for 26 hours, Brittany was present for about 14 hours she was in it for the long haul, I felt reassured by her presence. She provided lights and music to create a labor ambiance that I had envisioned and made it comforting for us. I will always remember the impact she made in my labor journey and her passion for her profession. Thank you!!

My husband and I have really enjoyed the prenatal education classes we took through The Nesting Place. All the teachers were warm and knowledgeable, and we're feeling a lot more prepared about childbirth, newborn care, and CPR. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much Sara for everything you taught us in your hypnobirthing class. Sam and I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. And the experience was incredible! Thanks to your classes we were able to breathe through the contractions and Sam knew exactly how to breathe with me and keep me calm and keep me focused on our baby. By the time we arrived we were fully dilated and ready to push! A completely incredible experience and we gave birth to our little girl exactly how we have been hoping.

I love The Nesting Place! They have everything that a first-time mom needs: classes, massages, and doulas! I learned so much in the Breastfeeding and Childbirth Education classes.
I can't thank Beth, my doula, enough for all the help and support she provided during my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Beth was absolutely wonderful! Anytime I had any concerns or questions, she was there to educate and support me! Throughout my entire labor and delivery, she was there with me and my husband. Also, she helped me to use the peanut ball which was very effective. Thanks to Beth my whole experience was great! I highly recommend her - Beth is a real gem!

The Nesting Place has been a wonderful support before, during and after our pregnancy. Barbara and staff have been warm and supportive consistently. The nesting place introduced us to our absolutely extraordinary doula, Adriana. Words can not sum up how much she helped our family. We are so happy we worked with Adriana during our pregnancy, she was unconditionally supportive and kind to 2 new parents to be. And all the beautiful parts of out labor were with Adriana. She helped create and support a birth natural birth plan for the hospital. Regardless of challenges, helped us learn and advocate for what was important to us. During labor she was there every step of the way to help us do everything that mattered. A truly kind, caring, passionate and encouraging individual, who we now consider a friend.

Alison is the best person you could meet during your motherhood journey! She is a beautiful soul and has a ton of experience. The Nesting Place has supported me getting ready for my baby to become a happy aware mom. They genuinely care so much about women it is the safest place in such a vulnerable time. Bonus I met my American best friend though the Nesting Place and our babies were born the same day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

My husband and I took the "Love Your Labor" class at The Nesting Place and I've been participating in their weekly pregnancy zoom groups. We absolutely loved the class - Beth was spectacular and answered all of our questions. Ultimately, we walked away with the knowledge and confidence needed to go into labor as opposed to the fear we originally had surrounding labor, especially with this being our first pregnancy. My husband also has a better understanding of what he can do to support me which made us feel even more like a team going into this exciting transition. Highly, highly recommend!

We had booked a last minute birthing session at the Nesting Place. From our first interaction with Barbara during the inquiry, to the booking process and the actual session itself - everything was on point. Rachel was so wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and answered all sorts of questions. We were extremely overwhelmed before the session and left feeling calmer and more informed. We highly recommend anyone in this journey to check out The Nesting Place. I found The Nesting Place when I was on the search for a doula and could not have been happier once I connected with them. Alison and I spoke on the phone and after learning what I was looking for, understanding my personality and needs, she connected me to our doula Brittany. Brittany was absolutely wonderful from start to finish (and still today). She is always available to answer any questions, talk on the phone/zoom, etc. which was very nice throughout my pregnancy. Once I was in labor, Brittany did not leave my side. She met my husband and I at the hospital and stay with us until our baby boy arrived and even spent a little time with us after. Brittany has a very calming demeanor and was there to help with all of the emotional and physical support I needed. When we first met her, we knew she'd be the perfect fit because of this - she is warm, friendly, loving and very knowledgeable. We're so happy she was a part of our experience and was there to help welcome our healthy baby boy! Thanks to the Nesting Place for helping us find her and for the continued support we receive.

I can't say enough about our experience with the nesting place. We started with CPR. My husband's job requires that he certify annually but I wanted him to join me for the class because it is our first baby. The teacher was knowledgeable, patient and kind. So much so that my husband engaged her for his job re-certs going forward. I hope never to need the training but feel ready if I do. We also took Lamaze and Newborn care and were equally as impressed with the caring, content and professionalism! The free pregnancy group changed my entire pregnancy. I learned so much and met an incredible group of women who have a lot of fun on Tuesday nights while supporting each other!We knew from our first conversations with Allison & Barbara we were in excellent hands! They are always available and I mean always(I emailed a question @ 10:30 on Sunday evening and got an immediate response). To echo the sentiment in so many of their reviews, these ladies really care!!! What an incredible gift to pregnant women!! Everything they do is top-notch here.

The Nesting Place has so many great resources for expectant and new moms, I’m so glad I found them early on in my pregnancy. I had Nikki as my doula, and my husband and I can’t rave enough about how helpful and supportive she was for both of us during the labor and delivery process and even now 2 weeks postpartum. I love how my labor and birth went, and Nikki was a huge part of that. This is all new territory for me as a first time mom, but I feel so supported by Allison, Barb, and Nikki and I know I have somewhere other than Google to go for any and all questions I may have. 10/10 would recommend

I enjoyed a postpartum message by Leslie at The Nesting Place and I feel like a whole new person. I am 3 weeks post delivery and she took very good care of me. Leslie was skillful and professional and made me feel very comfortable. The room was relaxing and calm. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire 90 minutes and would love to make this a monthly experience. It is amazing and rejuvenating. Just what every pregnant or postpartum mama needs!

I would recommend The Nesting Place to every single pregnant woman I know! I stumbled across their complimentary Pregnancy Support Group and fell in love with the idea of the group as well as Alison (who runs it) and the other soon-to-be moms in the group. As a first time mom, pregnancy was scary and it was so relieving to have a group of women to go through it with. I also took their pregnancy/labor preparation class (Love Your Labor) which was amazing. Everyone at The Nesting Place is amazing and supportive and I am forever grateful to Alison and Barb.

The Nesting Place was an amazing experience to work with. I’m beyond grateful for the staff and the service provided. We worked with two wonderful postpartum doulas that provided insight, patience, care and everything we hoped for. We worked with Sandra and Joanna. We are so thankful to them during their time with us and helping us raise our baby girl. I personally struggled with anxiety after giving birth and I have felt/received so much support from The Nesting Place, while also noticing how much they put my care and well being as a priority. Had a great experience in Janna’s birthing class. She was very informative with a lot of knowledge and experience. My husband learned how he can help me with labor. Also, she made the class very fun and entertaining. I now feel calm, confident and ready for when the process of labor starts.

Amy was a tremendous help and provided support in all the areas of lactation (breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding) to meet my family’s needs. I can honestly say that I do not know where I would be without The Nesting Place. I stumbled upon the Nesting Place when I was looking for prenatal yoga classes and unlocked an amazing resource and support team. Alison and her team are amazing, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They offer everything, from free support groups for expecting/new moms, to educational classes, yoga, doulas, massage, and Zumbini. As a new parent, I am learning how to navigate motherhood and the Nesting Place has been there for me each step of the way. The New Moms Monday support group got me through postpartum and I cannot put into words the amount of gratitude I have for The Nesting Place community. Thank you for all that you offer!

I’m so glad I found The Nesting Place! I took the Newborn Care and Breastfeeding class, which was great. Rachel provided so many practical tips and advice. I’d absolutely recommend it. The weekly pregnancy support group is also great!

Barbara and Alison were very attentive in finding a doula that was a good fit for me. They matched me with Nikki who is a supportive, empathetic, and great listener. I had a very long labor and unexpected things came along the way. She supported me for the whole journey and was very open to answering any questions I had pre labor and post labor. My husband and I are very grateful for her support.

Our experience was amazing. Our doula, Lauren, was available to us for any questions or concerns we had, which really helped when my water broke but I wasn't having any contractions yet. I was able to weigh the pros and cons of heading to the hospital vs waiting at home and make the best informed decision. Lauren's coaching and support through the birthing process allowed me to have the birth I wanted. I was able to focus on what I was doing and enjoy the day as much as I could. My son is healthy and doing great; I'm healthy and doing great. I highly recommend adding a doula from The Nesting Place to your birth team.

Rachel came to my home to provide a lactation consultation to me with my two week old daughter. She came masked for our safety and was very professional. I had been having problems with a painful latch as well as clogged ducts/mastitis. She provided recommendations, hands on adjustments and follow up info sheets which I found all helpful.

I’m so very grateful to have crossed paths with The Nesting Place. Although I was already in my third trimester Alison and Barbara worked quickly to get me in touch with the right doula for me. Lauren came to my home to meet with me and go over my birth plan, my likes and dislikes, and to prepare for the big day. She was in touch with me constantly and following up after my doctor visits. When the big day came she was at my house bright and early and worked with me through the contractions and questions. Her, along with the nurse, midwife, and my husband were the perfect team.
